The marshmallow originated in ancient Egypt, it was a honey bombon, flavoured and thickened with marsh-mallow plant sap. Nineteenth century doctors used the juice from the marsh mallow plant’s roots, cooked it with egg whites and sugar and whipped the mixture into a foamy meringue, creating a medicinal candy used to soothe children’s sore throats. Maybe that´s why it´s  still considered to be for children. In bubó we like to awaken the child in everyone and we´ve created marshmallows that bring you back and make you giddy. They are soft, sweet and sublime and they come in a wide range of flavours, one to suit every sweet tooth.
